How is working with an SEO freelancer different from hiring an agency?
With an agency, the person you meet in the sales meeting is rarely the person doing your SEO. Your work is typically handed to a junior account manager or offshore contractor. With me, you deal directly with the person doing the strategy, the writing, and the technical work. There are no handoffs and no layers between us.
How long until I see results from SEO?
Honestly, it depends on your starting point, your competition, and your niche. For local search in Sydney, most clients see meaningful movement in rankings within 60 to 90 days. Compounding traffic growth typically takes 4 to 6 months. I will give you a realistic timeline in our first call based on your specific situation, not a generic promise.
Do you only work with Sydney businesses?
Sydney is my primary focus and where I have the most local market knowledge. I also work with businesses across Australia, particularly those targeting local markets in other major cities. If you are based outside Sydney, book a call and we can work out whether I am the right fit.
What is the minimum commitment?
I work on monthly retainers with a minimum 3-month term. SEO is not a one-month fix, and any consultant who tells you otherwise is not being straight with you. Three months gives enough time to implement the foundation and start seeing movement. After that, we work month to month.
Do you guarantee rankings on Google?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google controls the algorithm and no one outside of Google can guarantee a specific ranking. What I can tell you is what I have achieved for clients in comparable niches, what the realistic timeline looks like, and what the strategy will involve. That is a more honest conversation than a guarantee that cannot be backed up.
